Kelly Rowland Reveals She’s Having a Baby Boy

Kelly Rowland

It’s a boy for Kelly Rowland! The “Motivation” singer has confirmed that she and her husband are expecting their first son.

During an interview with FOX411 (via E! Online), the mom-to-be accidentally revealed her baby’s gender.

“We’re very excited,” she said. “So far, everything has been good. I just feel like the baby is already [spoiled] rotten–like literally, my Caress family has gotten him all of his little bathing stuff, his toys. It’s just so cool.”

Once she realized that she had slipped, she sighed and laughed, “It, it’s…aw, f**k it! It’s a boy. It’s a boy!”

She then asked her publicist to phone her husband Tim Witherspoon. “Can you please tell him that I spilled the beans?” she said before telling her belly, “I’m sorry, baby.”

But it shouldn’t come as a big surprise. Kelly has been seen shopping for boy’s clothes and previously posted a photo of baby Jordans, writing, “I’ll be stuntin like my daddy.”

In June, she announced that she was pregnant after marrying her manager in Costa Rica in May.

In the meantime, the pregnant singer has been decorating her son’s new digs. “My baby’s nursery is fly,” she said. “I just wanted it to feel like a comfortable museum. Almost loft-y like. It’s just looks really cool. He’s got these huge pieces of artwork. It’s just really fresh.”

Kelly is nominated for Best Video With a Social Message for “Dirty Laundry” at the 2014 MTV Video Music Awards, airing August 24.

Remy Ma’s Prison Release Delayed

Remy Ma

Remy Ma’s homecoming has been delayed. Contrary to reports, the Bronx rapper remains behind bars.

The 34-year-old, born Reminisce Smith, was expected to be released from Bedford Hills Correctional Facility for Women in New York on Thursday morning after serving six years for shooting her former friend Makeda Barnes-Joseph. However, she is still in custody.

According to Miss Info, prison officials told Remy’s husband Papoose that she would not be released as planned. The rapper was seen driving away in his white Lamborghini and remained calm despite the news.

An official at Bedford Hills informed REVOLT that Remy was involved in a disciplinary problem on July 21, the same day she called into Angie Martinez on Power 105.1. Due to that infraction, she must wait until a report about the incident has been filed.

Remy Ma reportedly spent the last week of her incarceration in solitary confinement, but her team did not believe it would delay her release.

The New York State Department of Corrections inmate database currently lists her as being “in custody.”

There is no timetable or current release date set.

Rap-Up TV: K Camp Talks ‘Cut Her Off’ Success, Dream Collaboration

K Camp is riding high off the success of “Cut Her Off.” Originally intended as a mixtape cut, the strip club anthem off his EP In Due Time has taken off and even surprised the Atlanta rapper.

“When I saw the reaction in the strip clubs in Atlanta, I knew it was a problem,” he told Rap-Up TV. “I knew it was gonna do something, but I ain’t know it was gon’ do this. I’m blessed right now, so I’ma continue to work.”

Everyone from Rick Ross to Tiny has recorded a remix, but he’s not too fond of the latter. “They tryna cut dicks off, man. I ain’t wit’ that,” he said of Tiny’s male-bashing remake “Cut It Off” featuring Shekinah.

While in L.A., K Camp has been in the studio with Ty Dolla $ign, Problem, Big Sean, and The Game. He is also featured on Bow Wow’s upcoming single “Right Now.”

But he has his eye on one particular collaboration. “I always say André [3000] and Bun B. Ever since I came up, I said if I get a record with Bun B, I know I made it. Bun B is that plateau, like Drake did it, everybody get that Bun B record, so once I get that Bun B record, I’m OK.”

The SlumLord boss is currently working on his full-length album and hopes to have a career like Lil Wayne, Drake, and Jay Z. “I look up to Jay Z business-wise and what he did with the game,” he said. “[Dr.] Dre, that’s powerful. I look up to artists like that. It’s more than music. I see the business. I’m trying to do it all. Just trying to feed my kids’ kids.”

Earlier this week, K Camp debuted the video for “Blessing,” the second single off his EP In Due Time.

Chris Brown Sets Sail in St. Tropez

Chris Brown

Breezy is enjoying the summer in the South of France. The “Loyal” singer made a rare trip to Saint-Tropez and Marbella, Spain to host some club gigs this week. While overseas, he rented a yacht and cruised through the French Riviera with some friends.

He shared some snapshots from his vacay on Instagram, writing, “Yacht life! South of France!”

Other celebs including Justin Bieber, Diddy, and Cassie have flocked to the South of France for summer vacation.

After selling his Hollywood Hills home last month, Chris has rented a new crib in Agoura, Calif. The sprawling 8,000-square-foot, 6-bedroom house features an ice cream bar, dance studio, billiard room, tennis court, clubhouse, and enough space to park 75 cars.

But don’t mess with the neighbors. According to TMZ, one of them has threatened to shoot if he catches him trespassing. “It can be the devil. I can care less. I don’t care if they’re having orgies. It can even be Saddam Hussein for all I care, as long as he doesn’t trespass onto my property. If he does, I shoot him,” he said.

“I think the way the music out right now its kinda stereotyping how we are and how we look as men. They want to help restore women’s faith in relationships,” Kyle Norman tells Yahoo! Music “With ‘Hope,’ that’s basically where we are coming from, that we are here. God’s gift to a man is a woman.”

The ballad, written and produced by twin brothers Brian and Brandon Casey and Bryan-Michael Cox, is set to appear on J.E. Heartbreak Too, executive produced by Jermaine Dupri.

Timbaland: Missy Elliott’s New Album Is a ‘Game Changer’

Missy Elliott

It’s been nearly a decade since Missy Elliott released her last album, but her longtime collaborator Timbaland promises it will be worth the wait.

“It’s coming,” the super-producer told Rolling Stone of the follow-up to 2005′s The Cookbook. “It’s on her. She got the first single, it’s just a matter of when she wants to do it. We got the hollow-tip bullet in the gun. We have the game changer right there.”

While no release date has been set, he said to expect big things. “It’s something you ain’t never heard Missy do. It sounds today, but the future.”

In an interview with Yahoo!’s “The Yo Show,” earlier this year, Missy explained the reason for the delay. “When I create something, it’s gotta be special and it can’t just be to throw something out there because I feel like I’m Missy,” said the “Work It” rapper. “I gotta feel like what I’m giving the fans is 100 percent and that it’s game-changing. I don’t just throw out microwave records.”

In September 2012, Missy released two Timbaland-produced songs, “9th Inning” and “Triple Threat,” off her tentatively-titled album Block Party.

She has also appeared on singles for Little Mix (“How Ya Doin’?”), Fantasia (“Without Me”), and most recently, Faith Evans (“I Deserve It”).

Wiz Khalifa Calls Out Tyga for Dropping Off Tour: ‘That Was a Wack Move’

Wiz Khalifa and Tyga

On Thursday, Wiz Khalifa kicked off his “Under the Influence of Music” tour with Jeezy, Ty Dolla $ign, Mack Wilds, and more. But Tyga was noticeably absent. The Young Money rapper pulled out of the tour earlier this month, leaving Wiz in the dark.

“He didn’t tell me at all,” the Taylor Gang leader told Mina SayWhat during an interview on Power 99′s “Rise N Grind Morning Show.” “His people was just like, ‘Nah, we ain’t gonna be on the tour.’”

Tyga said that he was filming a movie and finishing up his album, but Wiz calls it a “wack excuse.”

The two haven’t spoken since. “I’m sure he’ll probably hear interviews of me saying that I thought that it was wack and he didn’t reach out,” said Wiz. “I’m the type of person, I talk to people when I want to. We cool, that’s the homie, and that was just a wack move.”

“I felt like that was just corny, man,” he continued. “We’re better than that ’cause at the end of the day, you don’t say album and a movie just to sound like you got something to do ’cause I did my album before my tour and I’m shooting a movie as soon as I get home off the tour, and I got a son too. At the end of the day, what do you want to do with your life?”

But the tour is moving along fine without him. “The chemistry’s good,” said Wiz. “Everybody was outside in the back, skatin’ around, smokin’, chillin’. It was tight, man. We all watched each other’s shows. It’s gonna be a lot of fun ’cause nobody’s bougie.”

The “Under the Influence of Music” tour continues tonight in Camden, N.J. and wraps August 24 in Irvine, Calif. Other acts on the bill include Rich Homie Quan, Sage the Gemini, Iamsu!, and DJ Drama.

Nicki Minaj has a message for those who criticize her “Anaconda” cover art.
