Mateo has been killing ‘em softly with his acoustic covers and original Christmas songs. Now he takes on Kendrick Lamar’s good kid, m.A.A.d city cut “Sing About Me” for his cover series of the same name.
The song has been reworked with new verses penned by Mateo and production courtesy of JL Brown and Kerry “Krucial” Brothers.
In the accompanying black-and-white clip, a dapper Mateo walks through an apartment before heading to the rooftop, where he sings as the city lights shine behind him.
Expect more music from Mateo as he gears up to release the first official single from his upcoming Interscope debut.
