Unlike the upbeat original, the new version features a subdued beat, with Dawn singing about chasing love, whether it’s wrong or right.
Without backing from a major label, the independent release still managed to debut at No. 2 on Billboard’s Heatseekers chart and at No. 137 on the Billboard 200.
