Machine Gun Kelly Announces ‘Black Flag’ Mixtape

Black Flag

Machine Gun Kelly celebrates Presidents’ Day by unveiling the title and cover art for his new mixtape Black Flag. The Cleveland rapper has also released a new song and video for “Champions.” The triumphant track samples Queen’s “We Are the Champions” and contains ad-libs from his Bad Boy boss Diddy.

The mixtape features a hungrier Kells. “I felt like I nearly got dropped from my label and felt this hunger that I hadn’t had in a long time, and I just put it in words,” he told Rap-Up TV. “I felt like I wasn’t a problem in the game yet, and now I feel like, ‘God damn.’ I’m so fu*king stoked on this tape.”

The tape will also include “Peso,” a collaboration with Pusha T and Meek Mill. “It’s a joint that makes you want to get up and go to work,” MGK said of the track, which samples Aloe Blacc’s “I Need a Dollar.”
