Lupe Fiasco briefly returned to Twitter on Thursday to drop a snippet of his new song “Light Blue,” only to follow it up with the full version moments later.
The Chicago MC rhymes about his youth over a thunderous beat, produced by DJ SimonSayz. But the song will not appear on his upcoming album Tetsuo & Youth , due later this year.
“DONT MIND ME….JUST STAYING IN SHAPE…JUST PRACTICE…LIKE A PIANO PLAYER OR A GYMNAST. Not on T&Y…So pls dont Say It Is on your blog. Thanx,” he wrote before deleting the tweet.
