It’s that time of the year again. XXL magazine has revealed the up-and-coming artists on its annual Freshman Class list.
Among this year’s chosen 10 are some names that you may already be familiar with including Trinidad Jame$, Kirko Bangz, Angel Haze, and two TDE signees, ScHoolboy Q and Ab-Soul.
Chief Keef, who released his Interscope debut Finally Rich last year, has been named the “11th Freshman.”
The list is always a hot topic of debate. After Iggy Azalea made last year’s cover, her rival Azealia Banks put her on blast.
2012’s Freshman Class has produced some successful alums including Future, Machine Gun Kelly, French Montana, and Roscoe Dash.
