Mariah Carey’s Lambs now have a title to go along with her new era. The Art of Letting Go is reportedly the name of the pop diva’s first album in four years.
The title originally appeared as a pre-order on Walmart’s website and Jermaine Dupri later announced it on his blog, Global 14.
“The Art of Letting Go. The new album will be available for all the lambs on July 23,” wrote the So So Def mogul.
The title has not been confirmed by Mariah herself, but she did reference it in a tweet. “Melancholic moment letting go of something this personal to me yet I couldn’t be more excited to give three years of my soul to the fans,” she said.
Just this week, she was in Capri, Italy, shooting another video with Miguel. A bikini-clad Mariah tweeted a photo of herself, writing, “Behind the scenes on set with @MiguelUnlimited!! coming soon:)”
Letting Go’s first single, “#Beautiful,” is currently No. 15 on the Billboard Hot 100, while the album is due July 23.
She has been in the studio with producers including J.D., Bryan-Michael Cox, Big Jim Wright, Hit-Boy, The-Dream, Mike WiLL Made It, and Rodney Jerkins.
