It was a G.O.O.D. Music reunion when Big Sean teamed up with Kid Cudi on Friday’s “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.” With some help from The Roots, the Detroit rapper performed “First Chain” with his former labelmate.
Rocking a Jesus piece and Timberlands, Sean reflected on his humble beginnings on the autobiographical record off his sophomore album Hall of Fame, while Cudi did his silly dance and laid down some harmonies.
While they may no longer be on the same label, they will always remain friends. “It just goes to show that it’s deeper than an imprint on a piece of paper,” Sean told Rap-Up TV. “We’re brothers and sometimes business may not always work out, but it’s deeper than that.”
