The Game Celebrates Birthday with Ed Sheeran, Wiz Khalifa

It was a black-tie affair as The Game celebrated his 34th birthday on Black Friday. The festivities kicked off at upscale restaurant Philippe Chow in Los Angeles, where the Compton MC was joined by his friends and family including Tiffney Cambridge, Ed Sheeran, Laura Govan, LoLa Monroe, and DJ Skee.

The birthday boy, looking dapper in a black tuxedo and red bow tie, toasted with guests at the private dinner and was presented with a cake inspired by his Blood Money Records label.

He wished himself happy birthday. “Another year……. Amazed at what I am, who I am…. Proud to be me !!!!!!!!” tweeted Game. “Appreciate all of you for riding with me on my journey through life. It means everything to me.”

The party continued at Friday Night Rox at Roxbury, where he turned up with Wiz Khalifa, Ty Dolla $ign, and Too $hort. Wiz kept the bottles of Ace of Spades coming, while Game sipped Dom Perignon Luminous. He got on the mic to thank everyone for celebrating with him, and Ty capped off the evening with a performance of “Paranoid.”

Lady Gaga Taps Rick Ross for ‘Do What U Want’ Remix

Mother Monster and MMG are joining forces. Following her collaboration with T.I., Too $hort, and Twista, Lady Gaga has enlisted Rick Ross for the remix to her R. Kelly-assisted single “Do What U Want.”

She made the announcement on Twitter, writing, “Do What U Want the Remix feat. RICK ROSS. It’s happening.”

The original song, which appears on her chart-topping album ARTPOP, is currently No. 20 on the Billboard Hot 100.

Gaga’s love for hip-hop is no secret. She recently revealed that she has been listening to a lot of Chicago rap including Chief Keef, and previously collaborated with Kendrick Lamar and Wale.

Ariana Grande ushered in the holidays at the 87th Annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. The “Sam & Cat” star rode atop Nickelodeon’s “Dora’s Christmas Carol Adventure” float. She looked cozy in a baby blue coat and earmuffs as she performed her holiday single “Last Christmas” alongside Dora.

Fat Joe Released From Prison

Fat Joe has a lot to be grateful for this Thanksgiving. The Bronx rapper was released from prison a month early.

In August, the 43-year-old began serving a four-month sentence for tax evasion after failing to pay taxes on $3 million in income between 2007-2010, totaling a tax loss of $718,038. He was scheduled to go home in late December, but got an early release.

He posted a video of himself surprising his daughter at home on Thanksgiving.

“HAPPY THANKSGIVING DADDY’s HOME!!!!!” said Joe.

Prior to beginning his sentence, he dropped his album The Darkside 3 featuring contributions from Action Bronson, DJ Premier, 9th Wonder, and Cool & Dre.

Big Sean Gives Away Turkeys in Detroit

In the spirit of the holidays, Big Sean gave back to his community by hosting a turkey giveaway. The “Beware” rapper partnered with Tarence Wheeler to give away turkey baskets for families in Detroit on Tuesday.

His proud mother Myra, comedian Mike Epps, and Detroit Piston Chauncey Billups were also on hand as he passed out turkeys and posed for pictures as part of his Sean Anderson Foundation.

“Me and @ bigsean giving back in Detroit on the turkey drive ,what a great city!” tweeted Epps.

Sean has also teamed up with the Detroit Pistons for a new TV campaign that will air on Fox Sports Detroit. The empowering ad, which uses Sean’s Finally Famous track “So Much More,” promotes the idea that Detroit residents can do anything.

Kanye West Flips Out on ‘Sway in the Morning’

Kanye West stopped by Power 105′s “The Breakfast Club” and SiriusXM’s “Sway in the Morning” on Tuesday, but only one radio show got him heated. When speaking to his friend Sway Calloway (the one who he gave a TV to), a very passionate ‘Ye lost his cool and flipped out.

“I’m standing up and I’m telling you, I am Warhol,” said ‘Ye. “I am the number one most impactful artist of our generation. I am Shakespeare in the flesh. Walt Disney, Nike, Google—now who’s gon’ be the Medici family and stand up and let me create more? Or do you want to marginalize me till I’m out of my moment?”

Sway responded, “Or why don’t you empower yourself and don’t need them and do it yourself?”

But Kanye didn’t take too well to the question and barked back. “How Sway?! You ain’t got the answers, man. You ain’t got the answers. I’ve been doing this more than you.”

When Sway told him to “chill out,” he said, “You ain’t spend $13 million a year of your money trying to empower yourself.”

Sway explained that he has spent hundreds of thousands on his clothing line, to which Kanye said, “And it ain’t no Ralph [Lauren] though. What’s the name of your clothing line? We don’t know.”

After Sway calmed him down, ‘Ye apologized for his outburst. “I love you man. I’m sorry.”

Kanye also explained how he wanted Big Sean to take off some of the songs on his album Hall of Fame. “It upset me as a hip-hop artist a bit. Now he gon’ turn up on this next one,” he said.

When Sway asked who would be No. 1 on MTV’s “Hottest MCs in the Game” list now, he said, Drake.

Juicy J Makes It Rain on ‘Arsenio’

Money was flying from the sky when Juicy J took the stage on Monday’s “Arsenio.” With some help from Project Pat, the Stay Trippy rapper made it rain in the audience while performing his strip club anthem “Bounce It.” He opened his briefcase and tossed stacks of cash as the crowd dove in.

He removed his shades and spoke about his humble beginnings and his parents’ careers (His father is a preacher and his mother a librarian).

“It just made me a better person today,” said Juicy. “Nothing was handed down. It was always a grind.”

During the interview, he also talked about a Three 6 Mafia reunion (“Hopefully”), where he stores his Oscar (“A safe place”), and his relationship with Miley Cyrus.

“I love Miley Cyrus. She’s having fun. She’s worth over $200 million. Why not have fun?” he said.

Drake Brings Out Nicki Minaj, Snoop Dogg at L.A. Show

“I feel like I brought OVO Fest to L.A. tonight,” said Drake during his “Would You Like a Tour?” stop at Staples Center in Los Angeles last night.

In addition to Future, Miguel, and Jhené Aiko, the star-studded lineup included Drake’s YMCMB labelmate Nicki Minaj, who joined him for “Make Me Proud.”

“Los Angeles, make some noise for one of the most beautiful, talented women in the entire world, Ms. Nicki Minaj,” said Drizzy to Nicki, who blew him a kiss before exiting the stage.

He also paid homage to his second hometown by bringing out West Coast legend Snoop Dogg, who performed a medley of hits including “The Next Episode,” “Nuthin’ but a ‘G’ Thang,” and “Drop It Like It’s Hot.”

“This guy right here is one of the most important people, not only in music, but just in the world, one of the best people I’ve ever met in my life,” said the Toronto MC.

Kanye West Announces Adidas Deal, Declares Kim ‘Most Beautiful Woman of All Time’

Kanye West was all the way turnt up during his visit to Angie Martinez on Hot 97 on Monday. With Kim Kardashian by his side (“I’m just wifey for the day,” she said), he confirmed his new deal with adidas, revealing that he turned down an offer from Nike to develop more sneakers.

“Nike told me we can’t give you a royalty because you’re not a professional athlete,” said ‘Ye. “I’m a performance athlete.”

So he decided to do what’s best for his family. “The old me without a daughter might have taken the Nike deal because I just love Nike so much,” he said. “But the new me with a daughter takes the adidas deal because I have royalties and I have to provide for my family.”

He also spoke about becoming the “Tupac of product,” and proclaimed Kim as “the most beautiful woman of all time.”

Plus, the future Mrs. West gushed about Kanye as a father (“His face lights up when he’s with our daughter and he’s the most amazing dad ever”) and recalled her fallout with Katie Couric while ‘Ye sang “No New Friends.”

Bridget Kelly Readies EP for December

While her debut album has been delayed until 2014, Bridget Kelly is not letting the year go by without releasing new music. The Roc Nation singer is readying an EP for release next month.

The 5-track collection, Cut to Bridget Kelly, will be available to stream on Spotify on December 10.

“12/10/13 #Cut2BK will be released!!!!!!!!!! 5 new songs, just for you, my #BKbombshells,” tweeted Bridget.

It marks the follow-up to her 2011 EP Every Girl , which included contributions from The-Dream, Ester Dean, Ne-Yo, James Fauntleroy, and more.

Her Roc Nation debut Something Different was originally due in September. It has already spawned the ballad “Special Delivery” and the Kendrick Lamar-assisted “Street Dreamin’.”
