After scoring her 13th No. 1 hit with Eminem’s single “The Monster,” Rihanna has set her sights at the top of the charts once again. The pop superstar teams with fellow Roc Nation signee Shakira on the Colombian bombshell’s new single “Can’t Remember to Forget You.” The femme fatales make for an unforgettable combination, oozing sex as they sing about seducing a lover.
“I never thought we could come together—with me on ‘The Voice’; taking care of my baby, Milan; Rihanna touring,” Shakira told Glamour magazine. “But working with her was utopia. She’s the cutest woman on the planet. And at the end of the day, we’re both basically Caribbean girls. The chemistry was so good. She taught me dance moves. She was a sweet teacher.”
The song is the first single from Shakira’s upcoming album, due early this year on RCA/Sony Latin Iberia. A video, directed by Joseph Kahn, has already been shot and will premiere in the weeks ahead.
