Fifteen years after releasing her debut, Jenny goes back to the block in the video for “Same Girl.” In the Gomillion & Leupold-directed clip, the pop megastar returns to her old neighborhood of Castle Hill in the Bronx and rides the 6 train, dances in the rain, and hangs with her fans while rocking a Yankees cap.
The song was written by Chris Brown and produced by Amadeus, Chizzy, and Ryan M. Tedder.
“Life can be so complicated and complex for everybody and for me as well and I just felt like, I just wanna get back on the train,” J.Lo told Jay Leno. “It really just reminded me of all those amazing memories of riding on that train back and forth to Manhattan and back to the Bronx.”
She has been in the studio with French Montana, Future, Big Sean, Robin Thicke, Sia, and DJ Mustard working on her upcoming 10th album.
