Eminem’s next video will be a Spike Lee joint. Earlier this week, the hip-hop superstar teamed up with the iconic director to shoot a video for his next Marshall Mathers LP 2 single “Headlights” in his hometown of Detroit. He snapped an Instagram photo of him and Spike on set.
“Spike came out to The D for the ‘Headlights’ video… Coming soon,” tweeted Em.
On Wednesday, Spike paid a visit to 8 Mile, but didn’t reveal why he was there. “Great Day To Be In Motown On Marvin Gaye’s Born Day,” he said.
With Spike in the director’s chair, expect a cinematic video for the Nate Ruess-assisted song, on which Em apologizes to his mother Debbie Mathers following their tumultuous past.
He has also shared a behind-the-scenes clip from his last video for “The Monster” co-starring Rihanna.
