From Onyx to Magic City, August Alsina salutes the strippers making stacks on “Get Ya Money” featuring Fabolous, one of the cuts off his full-length debut Testimony. The New Orleans crooner dedicates the song to the hard-working women who strip to pay their way through college and support their children.
“Girl, I love seeing your back bend / They cashin’ out and you cash in,” he sings.
Due Tuesday, Testimony also features collaborations with Rick Ross, Pusha T, and Yo Gotti.
“Nothing is held back on Testimony,” August told Rap-Up TV. “I never want nobody to feel like I’m talking about them or putting people’s business out there, but then at the same time, this is my story. This is what it is, so let me give it to you.”
