It’s finally here. Nicki Minaj debuts “Pills N Potions,” the first single off her upcoming third album The Pink Print. The rap queen satisfies her hip-hop and pop fans, rapping and singing on the personal record, produced by Dr. Luke (“Va Va Voom”) and co-written by Ester Dean.
“Pills n potions / We’re overdosing / I’m angry, but I still love you,” she sings.
“It feels very uplifting and it feels very soulful,” Nicki told Rap-Up TV. “It’s a great, I feel, indicator of what The Pink Print will feel like in terms of the storyline of that song.”
The Pink Print, due later this year, marks a return to her roots. “The Pink Print will remind people why they fell in love with Nicki Minaj,” she added. “And I think that needs to be done.”
