The-Dream has found love again. The singer-songwriter reportedly got married over the 4th of July weekend.
The 36-year-old hitmaker and his new wife tied the knot in a private ceremony on Friday. The newlyweds were seen exiting a San Francisco courthouse following their nuptials. The groom was decked out in a tuxedo and top hat, while the bride wore a white gown.
The-Dream didn’t reveal who the mystery woman was, but posted an Instagram photo of his new wife with the caption: “THE MRS. I LOVE YOU with my Whole Entire Heart and Spirit, God has blessed me in a Time where any man would feel overcome! God has restored my Heart!”
This marks his third marriage. He was previously married to Nivea in 2004. The couple has three children together. In September 2009, he and Christina Milian eloped in Las Vegas. They share a four-year-old daughter named Violet.
Milian wished her ex on his big day. “Congratulations to a great friend and father! Love is in the air, may you both live in bliss from this day forward! You deserve it @thekingdream,” she said.
Since parting ways with Def Jam earlier this year, The-Dream has launched his new “designer and culture label” Contra-Paris, which was inspired by his love for the French city.
“Before I have mentioned my adoration for Paris and also how our culture has impacted everything from Fashion to Jazz and now Modern Music,” he explained. “I have no wishes to build a Record Label, or pursue the old idea of what a record label is this Venture is all about Culture and everything that surrounds Music.”
He has also reunited with his production partner Tricky Stewart. “Me and my Partner Tricky Stewart will do our best at showing you the world through the eyes Of the Young Black Dreamers,” he said. “We want to change how you feel about Life through music and Culture and also change what we see in Each other! Love.”
The first release on his label will be his EP Royalty: The Prequel. The 8-track project, which includes the song “Wedding Bells,” will be available for download today at 7 p.m. EST on Contra-Paris.com.
