Straight outta South Central L.A. comes Cozz. The 21-year-old newcomer, who didn’t seriously start rapping until February 2013, has been building his buzz with his single “Dreams,” which caught the attention of J. Cole, who signed him to his Dreamville/Interscope label in June.
His 12-track debut Cozz N Effect drops tomorrow on iTunes featuring the J. Cole-assisted remix to “Knock the Hustle.” A physical version will hit stores on October 27.
On the eve of his album release, he debuts a video for the anthemic “Cody Macc.”
“I got the whole city goin’ crazy for me,” raps Cozz while walking the desolate streets of L.A.
See why his city, and soon the rest of the country, will be going crazy for Cozz.
