Barbz rejoice. After months of waiting, Nicki Minaj has revealed the deluxe cover art for The Pinkprint. The third album from Young Money’s First Lady, which has a new release date of December 15, has spawned the singles “Pills N Potions,” the Sir Mix-A-Lot-sampled hit “Anaconda,” and “Only” featuring Drake, Lil Wayne, and Chris Brown.
The simple, yet striking artwork features a thumbprint in pink ink and was designed by Kanye West’s creative team DONDA, who did the artwork for Lil Wayne’s I Am Not a Human Being II and 2 Chainz’ B.O.A.T.S. II.
“This is actually the #Deluxe cover. I’ll post the standard cover at a later date. #ThePinkprintAlbumCover thank u to the Kanye West team,” said Nicki.
She hopes the follow-up to 2012′s Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded will stand the test of time. “I think the album is so classic,” Nicki told “The Breakfast Club.” “It’s gonna feel so good and I think it will probably be something that female rappers look to as a Pinkprint for years to come.”
Prior to the album’s release, Nicki will host the MTV EMA in Glasgow, Scotland on November 9.
