K. Michelle reflects on love lost in the cinematic video for “Maybe I Should Call,” the second release from her sophomore album Anybody Wanna Buy a Heart?
In the short film, which was inspired by a true story and directed by Iren Sheffield Brown, the VH1 star witnesses what her life could have been had she stayed in her relationship. She watches her man as he builds a new life with his new wife and baby. In the dream sequence, K appears in his car, at the dinner table, and even in his bedroom.
But maybe it’s not too late after all. K wakes up and wonders if she should make the call.
AWBAH drops December 9. Earlier today, she debuted her latest song, the piano ballad “How Do You Know?”
