Big K.R.I.T. returned to “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on Monday as the first musical guest of 2015. The Mississippi MC, who last appeared on the show in May 2012, was joined by The Roots and Raphael Saadiq as he performed his single “Soul Food” off his sophomore album Cadillactica, which debuted at No. 1 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart.
He also made a statement with his T-shirt, which read, “Across cultures, darker people suffer most. Why?” It was inspired by André 3000’s collection of jumpsuits.
