Rae Sremmurd Lands Top 5 Debut with ‘SremmLife’

Rae Sremmurd is flexing on the charts. The hip-hop duo debuts in the top 10 this week with SremmLife.


The album, which features the hits “No Flex Zone” and “No Type,” enters at No. 5 on the Billboard 200 after moving 49,000 units (34,000 in traditional sales). The Tupelo brothers are the only act to debut in the top 30 this week.


Taylor Swift remains at No. 1 with 155,000, while Ed Sheeran’s x locks down the No. 2 spot with 76,000 units.


Nick Minaj’s The Pinkprint falls 2-3 with 60,000 units (34,000 in sales). The third album from the Young Money rapper is also No. 1 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart for the fourth consecutive week.




Sam Smith’s Grammy-nominated debut In the Lonely Hour holds at No. 4 (57,000 units), while J. Cole’s 2014 Forest Hills Drive is steady at No. 7, selling 45,000 units (34,000 in sales).


Rounding out the top 10 are One Direction’s Four (No. 9, 32,000) and Ariana Grande’s My Everything (No. 10, 28,000).
