How can one man have so much power? Kanye West graces the cover of Billboard's annual Power 100 issue. Dressed in all black, the dapper mogul poses alongside fellow Universal Music Group artist Lana Del Rey and UMG chairman/CEO Lucian Grange, who ranks No. 1 on the magazine's list of power players.
"Lucian has such an extensive knowledge of music history, yet his eye is always on the future. As artists, we're lucky he's at the helm," says Del Rey.
The 2015 Power 100 list also includes Apple's Jimmy Iovine, Roc Nation's Jay Brown, Epic Records' L.A. Reid and Sylvia Rhone, and Cash Money's Birdman and Slim.
Kanye has launched a new website, yeezy.supply, with a countdown to his first adidas collection. He is expected to unveil his YEEZi 3 sneaker during New York Fashion Week on Feb. 12.
Mr. West has a busy week ahead. In addition to NYFW, he will perform at the Grammys on Sunday and headline the first-ever Roc City Classic event on Feb. 12 in New York.
