Reaching as high as #13 on the iTunes R&B charts, this North Carolina raised and Atlanta bred singer/songwriter inked her deal with Atlantic Records at the start of 2014 with great aspirations. From there she took off writing for a ton of artists including Meek Mill, Wiz Khalifa, Chris Brown and Tyga, among others.
But this year it's her turn to shine and she's shocked everyone with her EP, Walking Around Pools. Now after an appearance on Revolt last week, PJ complements her other singles "I Mean It" ft Hit Boy and "Nickles and Dimes" wiith the track titled "Own" ft Gizzle. Like other songs on the album,"Own" is triumphant self proclamation affirming her dreams are coming true through her own work and sacrifices. Like anything good in life, success didn't come easy to PJ, but she did it on her "Own."
