Shawn Pen Suggests Biggie Got Robbed Because 2Pac Spoke To Haitian Jack (AUDIO)

(AllHipHop News) Two decades later and stories about the tumultuous relationship between Tupac Shakur and The Notorious B.I.G. are still coming to light. The latest individual to recall personal moments from the Pac and Big's history is Shawn Pen (formerly known as Lil Shawn).

Shawn recently spoke with The Combat Jack show. The friend of Biggie discussed a particular incident that involved the two Hip Hop legends and Jacques "Haitian Jack" Agnant.

Haitian Jack has long been implemented in the infamous 1994 shooting and robbery of 2Pac at the Quad City studio in New York. Pac even referred to Jack as a snitch on his song "Against All Odds."

On the CBJ show, Shawn addressed the Quad City shooting, Pac's belief Big knew about the set-up, and the aftermath of the fallout between the two former friends. Shawn Penn said:

Pac had already started accusing Biggie – whoever did it, you know it wasn't him. Biggie wasn't that guy. That just wasn't him. So, me and Big are talking, and Big is like, "I can't believe this dude would accuse me of doing that. Me and this n***a was super f**king cool. He knows that's not my style."

When Pac first started hanging out with Jack and everybody, Biggie or somebody in his camp had said something to him about it. Pac went back and told Jack. And Biggie got robbed.

The same s**t that happen in the movie [Notorious], whether it was Big or whomever, they told Pac, "Be careful." He didn't really have nothing to worry about… Pac went back and told [Jack], and that's when they didn't f**k with Big no more.

Haitian Jack also spoke about the Quad City shooting in a recent interview. He denied being behind Pac getting shot that day. He told HipHopWired:

Whenever it comes to 'Pac it feels like I'm blamed. I know who's behind it and we'll get into that one-day. But the person that's behind it is serving life right now. Let me tell you man, whenever you go out of your way to get someone killed, put in jail and slander their character, all those things end up coming back to you; especially a person who has nothing against you or has done nothing to you.

2Pac's former bodyguard Reggie Wright told AllHipHop.com in 2014 it was most likely James "Jimmy Henchman" Rosemond that was behind Pac being ambushed in Manhattan. Wright said at the time:

We believe for most of that to be true – that Jimmy Henchman did that just to show Puff and Biggie his street credibility. To get his name out there is the reason that was done.

Shawn later contended that while Biggie was upset about Pac turning on him, he believes the entire Bad Boy/Death Row "beef" was orchestrated by Suge Knight. Shawn suggested 2Pac's attitude completely changed after Suge bailed him out of jail and signed him to Death Row Records.
