(AllHipHop News) Superstar producer Timbaland has been touting his Mosley Music Group signee Tink for months. Tim took his praise for the young singer/rapper to another level when he told a crowd in Austin, Texas the late Aaliyah co-signed Tink from beyond the grave.

"I don't touch Baby Girl's record. Y'all know that's Aaliyah," said Timbaland at the Fader SXSW showcase. "I was riding home one day, sleep. She spoke to me in my sleep, and said [Tink's] the one."
With Tink standing behind him on stage, Timbo added that he was not comparing the Chicago performer to the "Are You That Somebody?" singer.
"Aaliyah spoke to me and said, '[Tink's] the one," He stated. "I'm not saying she's better than Aaliyah. I'm not saying none of that."
Timbaland and Missy Elliott were instrumental in helping craft Aaliyah's sound for her second album One In A Million. Since her death, he has been very protective of the R&B star's legacy which included bashing the Lifetime Network and producer Wendy Williams for the television biopic about the deceased songstress.
