Miley Cyrus and Ariana Grande are using their voices for a good cause. The pop superstars covered Crowded House's "Don't Dream It's Over" as part of Miley's Backyard Sessions series (via PEOPLE). Decked out in unicorn and mouse onesies, they performed the rock classic while seated on an inflatable green couch in Miley's backyard.
"You're an angel, Ariana Grande," Miley told her fellow pop star.
The performance series, which has also featured Joan Jett and transgender punk rocker Laura Jane Grace, raises awareness for Miley's Happy Hippie Foundation, a non-profit organization that fights the injustices faced by homeless and LGBT youth.
On Wednesday night, Miley covered something a little more scandalous. The 22-year-old singer put her spin on Khia's raunchy 2002 hit "My Neck, My Back (Lick It)" during Adult Swim's Upfront Party in New York. Wearing butterfly pasties and sparkly wings, she belted out the explicit lyrics about licking her neck, her back, and you know the rest.
She received the stamp of approval from the Thug Misses herself.
Thanks Miley✌️#YumYumSauce #Khia #ThugMisses #ShesssssBackkkkkkkkk
