Lil Wayne goes back to his roots in the video for “God Bless Amerika,” a cut off his album I Am Not a Human Being II. The Eif Rivera-directed clip, which was shot in his hometown of New Orleans last month, sparked controversy after Wayne was accused of “trampling” the American flag.
He shot down the reports writing, “It was never my intention to desecrate the flag of the United States of America. In the final edit of the video you will see the flag fall to reveal what is behind it but will never see it on the ground.”
