Kid Cudi

The wait has paid off for Kid Cudi fans. The Cleveland rapper has announced that Satellite Flight: The Journey to Mother Moon will arrive next month as a full-length album.

The project was originally set to be an EP, but Cudi has had a change of heart.

Satellite Flight is an album now :) thats what u get for being so patient w me. Ur gonna love it. Ur gonna love it. Ur gonna fucking LOVE!” he tweeted.

While he wouldn’t reveal an exact date, he did tell one fan that it would drop sometime in February.

“I have an excitement deep in the bellows of my loins haha,” added Cudi, who debuted the title track last month.

The album, which includes contributions from Dot Da Genius and King Chip, serves as a prelude to Man on the Moon 3.

“It’s all attached to the story,” he explained. “When Man on the Moon 3 comes out, you’ll be able to play this EP and segue into Man on the Moon 3. It will be a seamless connection.”

In addition to music, Cudi stars in the upcoming action crime drama Need for Speed, hitting theaters March 14.
