As anticipation grows for her full-length debut Souled Out, Jhené Aiko faces “The Pressure” on her latest single, which was inspired by the stress of finishing her album.
The L.A. songstress puts on for her hometown. “People don’t give L.A. the credit it deserves for being creative and cultured,” she told Vogue . “We are just as open-minded as artists from other places. And we are venturing…It’s not just gangster rap.”
Just last month, she premiered the Cocaine 80s-assisted “To Love & Die.”
Souled Out is now scheduled for a September release. Following its release, Jhené will join The Weeknd on his four-city “King of the Fall” tour with ScHoolboy Q.
