On October 21, the legendary Aretha Franklin will release her covers album Aretha Franklin Sings the Great Diva Classics , which includes her remakes of popular diva classics including Alicia Keys’ “No One,” Barbra Streisand’s “People,” and a mash-up of Gloria Gaynor’s “I Will Survive” and Destiny’s Child’s “Survivor.”
On the first single, the Queen of Soul brings down the house with a soaring cover of Adele’s “Rolling in the Deep” that will make you fall in love with the song all over again. Aretha’s version also includes a mash-up of “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough.”
She will perform the song on “Late Night with David Letterman” tonight and the “Today” show on October 3.
