With her new album The London Sessions in stores, Mary J. Blige brought some “Therapy” to “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on Monday. Dressed in all black, the R&B queen took it to church with a stirring performance of her Sam Smith-penned single.
The album, which also features contributions from Disclosure, Rodney Jerkins, and Emeli Sandé, has been receiving positive reviews from critics including Rolling Stone , Entertainment Weekly , and TIME , who wrote, “The London Sessions is proof positive that she’s still a creative force with great instincts.”
