Actor Anthony Mackie has been convicted of driving while impaired.
The The Captain America: Civil War star (but we remember him from She Hate Me) was pulled over by police in November of 2013 and they said he smelled of alcohol. Furthermore, they said his eyes were bloodshot red.
He also allegedly failed a number of sobriety tests. His license was subsequently suspended after declining to take a blood-alcohol test, according to the New York Daily News.
On Friday, Feb. 20, Mackie was ordered to complete a drunk driving program and pay fines.
"Thank you, your honor, for the opportunity. Thank you for listening to the case and coming up with a fair conclusion," he said in court. I wish everyone else had done the same," he concluded.
