Lee Daniels Says Common & Oprah Will Guest Star On “Empire” (VIDEO)

(AllHipHop News) The list of celebrities that have made appearances on Empire includes Mary J. Blige, Courtney Love, Estelle, Jennifer Hudson, and Raven-Symoné. The show's creator, Lee Daniels, recently revealed he is lining up two more huge entertainers for future episodes of the hit Fox series.

While speaking with Access Hollywood, Daniels stated he plans to get rapper/actor Common to guest star on the series. The Chicago native had expressed his interest in having a role on the Hip Hop soap opera.

"Oh yeah, for sure," said Daniels when asked if he would make a part for the Academy Award winner. "Common, you heard that first."

Daniels confirmed Common's Selma co-star Oprah will be part of the Empire cast as well. He directed the media mogul in his 2013 film The Butler.

"She's going to be on it," added Daniels.
